Annual meeting of international students at Buryat State University named after Dorzhi Banzarov

On September 18, 2025, the annual meeting for international students was held at the Dorji Banzarov Buryat State University. Today, BSU has more than 340 international students from 20 countries.

The meeting was attended by heads and teachers of the University, heads of dormitories, as well as representatives of the Department of Internal Affairs of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Belarus and the Prosecutor's Office of the Republic of Buryatia. Vice-Rector for Research, V.V. Nomogoeva, opened the meeting with a welcoming speech, noting the importance of international cooperation and the exchange of cultural experience.

The Deputy head of the Department of Permissive visa Work at the Department of Internal Affairs of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Belarus, N.V. Fastunova, explained in detail the possibility of obtaining a temporary residence permit for the purpose of education (RVPO).

The head of the Department for Supervision of the implementation of anti-corruption legislation of the Prosecutor's Office of the Republic of Belarus, E.D. Tsyrenova, presented information about the International Youth Competition of Social Anti-Corruption Advertising "Together against Corruption!", encouraging students to actively participate in this initiative.

The staff of the International Relations Department also shared useful information about the rules of stay of foreign citizens, registration of SIM cards, as well as passing fingerprinting and medical examination.

At the end of the event, the students were wished easy and interesting studies, as well as successful adaptation to a new cultural environment.
