Mongolia's Education Minister P. Naranbayar met with Rector of Buryat State University A.V. Damdinov and representatives of the university. The meeting discussed the organization of the Forum of Rectors of Russia and Mongolia and participation in it.

Mongolia's Education Minister P. Naranbayar and Russian Minister of Science and Higher Education V.N. Falkov agreed at a meeting in October last year to hold the Forum of Rectors of Russia and Mongolia as part of the 26th meeting of the Intergovernmental Commission on Trade, Economic and Scientific-Technical Cooperation between Mongolia and Russia. In accordance with this, the co-organizers of this event from Mongolia will be the University of Science and Technology, from Russia - the Buryat State University named after Dorji Banzarov. The forum is planned to be held in July this year in Ulan-Ude, the capital of the Republic of Buryatia.

In addition, the parties instructed the relevant authorities to intensify student exchanges and work together to increase the number of Buryat citizens studying in Mongolia and Mongolian citizens studying in Buryatia.
