An innovative anatomical table “Pirogov” was installed in the medical institute of the Buryat State University. This interactive complex allows studying human anatomy in detail in 3D-format, combining virtual models with real preparations. The anatomical table “Pirogov” is successfully used for training of future doctors both in the leading universities of Russia and in specialized universities of foreign countries. According to T.E. Spasova, Director of the Medical Institute, the equipment will significantly improve the quality of training of future doctors, especially in surgery and topographic anatomy. “Now students will be able to practice skills without risk to patients, and teachers will be able to visually demonstrate complex clinical cases”

The delivery became possible thanks to the federal program “Priority 2030”. At the same time about 500 students, residents, postgraduate students of MI BSU got access to the mobile anatomical atlas “PIROGOV ANATOMY” for individual study of anatomy on a personal computer, tablet or smartphone. The use of modern technologies increases the involvement of students in the learning process, allows virtual dissection of the human body, demonstrate organs, systems, body parts in 3D-format, solve clinical situational problems - said Elvira Alekseeva, Head of the Department of Anatomy and Physiology. We plan to use the interactive table in the educational process on normal, pathological and clinical anatomy, topographical anatomy and operative surgery. In the near future we plan to integrate the table into the program of continuing medical education for practicing specialists.
