Foreign students competition "New Year in my country"

From December 20 to December 24, 2021 the International Department of BSU organized and held the competition "New Year in my country" for foreign students. The competition included two stages: 1) preparation of a video with New Year's greetings in the native language and 2) New Year's room decoration.

The competition was attended by 22 foreign students from China, Thailand, Korea, Mongolia, USA, Venezuela. The students presented New Year's videos and congratulations in different genres: in prose and in poetry, children's songs and classical ones, music videos and a video sequence of photos.

Students from Mongolia (Erdene-Ochir Altantsetseg (1st place), Gantulga Tumurkhuyag (2nd place), Bayartsengel Bolorkhon (3rd place)) took part in the competition "The Best New Year's Room."

As a result, there were the following winners of the video competition:

1st place was taken by the music video made by the Mongolian students (Davyd Mungunshagai, Gantugs Amargal, Sharchuluun Ariunbold, Bayartsengel Bolorkhon, Gantulga Tumurkhuyag, Erdembileg Izhilbayar, Byambasuhen Eldzhin;

2nd place was taken by a Mongolian New Year's song performed by the student Bayartsengel Bolorkhon (Mongolia);

3rd place was awarded to the student Ham Sunnen (Korea) for performing a classic Korean song.

The rest of projects were evaluated by the jury in different nominations. All participants received certificates and prizes.
