BSU at the international educational exhibition "Education and Profession" in Tashkent, Uzbekistan

From November 12-24 in the Republic of Uzbekistan the 20th anniversary international educational exhibition "Education and Profession" is being held. On November 12-13, Buryat State University took part in the annual exhibition in Tashkent, which was attended by over 10,000 schoolchildren, teachers and parents.

In the CIS countries the interest in Russian education has only increased in recent years, the demand for Russian diplomas in the labor market is very high. Despite the fact that applicants from Uzbekistan most often choose Moscow and St. Petersburg universities, but even in Buryatia at BSU there is a significant number of Uzbek students, especially at the Medical Institute.

This year, the exhibition featured more than 30 universities from the Russian Federation, Great Britain, South Korea, Malaysia, Belarus, and Kazakhstan. The following areas of study aroused great interest among graduates and their parents: general medicine, programming and IT, economics, primary education, psychology, international law, Eastern and Western philology and etc.

Our university is interesting for the relative education and accommodation accessibility, a friendly environment and opening up prospects, thanks to the Russian diploma. The exhibition participants received comprehensive information on admission to all training programs on a contractual and budgetary basis through Rossotrudnichestvo and within the Compatriots program.

As part of the exhibition, the Pre-University Training Department representatives managed to meet with the head of Rossotrudnichestvo in Uzbekistan, Vozhdaev Mikhail Valerievich, for long-term cooperation and career guidance in Uzbekistan. In 2021, the Republic of Uzbekistan was allocated 750 quota places, and Buryat State University participates in the quota allocation along with other leading Russian universities.

Today BSU provides high-quality education in all demanded training programs for bachelor's and master's degrees. The interest in educational programs of our university was high and we hope to see today's applicants in Buryat State University soon.
