Buryat State University received a delegation of the Consulate General Mongolia in Ulan-Ude on an official visit

On May 14, 2021, Buryat State University received a delegation of the Consulate General Mongolia in Ulan-Ude on an official visit. The delegation was headed by the newly appointed Consul General Ms. Demberel Nyamtseren.

The year 2021 is marked by the 100th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Russia and Mongolia, in connection with which joint events timed to this date were discussed - the organization and holding of scientific and practical conferences, seminars, joint scientific research, the Week of the Mongolian language, student competitions, the creation of the Center for Mongolian Studies on the basis of the Oriental Institute BSU etc.

Dean of Law Faculty, Radnaeva E.L. outlined a strategic program for the development of relations between the Law Firm and Mongolian institutions in the coming years.

Leading researcher at the Institute of Economics and Management N.I. Atanov raised an important question about the organization of career guidance work within the admissions campaign in 2021 in Mongolian schools.

Director of Oriental Institute Rodionov V.A. and head.of Department of Central Asia Philology Balzhinimaeva B.D. expressed gratitude to the Consulate General for invaluable assistance in organizing educational projects in order to train future Mongolian scholars.

Ms. Demberel Neamtseren was touched by such a great interest in international relations with Mongolia, the numerous existing and planned projects and expressed her readiness to assist in their implementation.
