Ulan-Ude Language Technology Seminar was held on April 13 – 18 at Buryat State University. Seminar was co-organized by Central Asia Philology Department of Institute of Oriental Studies (BSU), The Arctic University of Norway, Giellatekno, the Center for Saami language technology, and University of Helsinki. The seminar was aimed to prepare basis for Buryat and other Siberian languages technologies development. The main course motivation is getting skills. In future analyzers can become a base for linguistic researches, as well as a base for creation of spellcheckers, electronics vocabularies, electronics teaching programs and machine translation systems.
