International Applied Science Conference "Ecology, Education, Society: Problems and Prospects of Effective Collaboration" started in the Meeting Room of the Government of the Republic of Buryatia on the 26th of September. The Organizing Committee of the scientific forum: Teacher-Training Institute of the Buryat State University and NGO "Baikal Information Centre "GRAN" extend their appreciation to the Natural Resources Ministry of the Republic of Buryatia for support.
Stepan V. Kalmykov, rector of the Buryat State University, representatives of the Natural Resources Ministry and Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Buryatia, addressed Conference participants with a welcome speech. Over 100 people participated in the work of the applied science forum, among them - colleagues from Germany and Mongolia. Majority of the conference participants are teachers. Plenary session reports were concentrated on issues of education for sustainable development and modern tendency in the system of school environmental education.
After the plenary session, the conference work continued in sections in the Buryat State Uiversity.
