New academic year in the Buryat State University started with a pleasant event. 30 August was held the opening of the new academic building. The ceremony was attended by Vyacheslav Nagovitsin - Head of the Republic of Buryatia, Prime Minister of Buryatia, Alexander Golkov - Mayor of Ulan-Ude, Aldar Damdinov - Minister of Education and Science of the Republic of Buryatia, Tatyana Dumnova - Minister of Economy of the Republic of Buryatia, Margarita Magomedova - Minister of Property and Land Relations, Valery Kozhevnikov - Minister of health of Buryatia, Irinchei Matkhanov, Vyacheslav Markhaev - deputies of the State Duma, Doctor of Law, Professor Yuri Skuratov , Viktor Abusheev - general director of "Baikalzhilstroy" (construction contractor), media representatives of Republic.
Traditional red ribbon, waiting students, who are looking forward to move into a new, modern, airy university building, there were also veterans of the University - all these created a warm friendly atmosphere.
The Head of the Republic of Buryatia, Vyacheslav Nagovitsin has congratulated all presents. He mentioned that, the new building will serve faithfully for the development of our city for many years. "The new building - is not only a decoration of the city, but also "future", in which students will learn with pleasure and get a decent knowledge" - he said.
The rector of Buryat State University gave a speech to students, teachers and many guests, he said: "The construction of such a large-scaled project was made possible with direct help of the Head of the Republic of Buryatia. The plans of the university are: to construct a dormitory and swimming pool for students."
Аfter cutting the red ribbon had a tour of the new building. Large corridors, high ceilings and windows, white walls, lecture halls - almost everything is ready to start a new academic life, scientific activities in the new building. According to the prime contractor, the new building conforms to all current construction standards.
In the end of this festive day, there was party for students, which is dedicated to the beginning of a new academic year.
