On the 6th of August in Buryat State University took place «The Opening of Baikal extension courses for foreign teachers of Russian language». The rector of Buryat State University S. V. Kalmykov made a welcoming speech to the members of a meeting.
The program of courses timed till the 14th of August and includes lectures for teachers of Russian language, partners of Buryat State University from Mongolia, China and the Republic of Korea. The themes of lectures are various, for example during the opening to members of opening presented the lecture of Doctor of Philological Science V. V. Bashkeeva «Russian language in area of Europe and Asia: state, problems and prospects». The next lecture « Learning the language of business communication» was given by I. V. Kurlova, specialist of the Center of international training of Moscow State University. Except lectures the program of courses includes practical training of speech. All studies passed with the consideration of the latest trends in the field of teaching Russian as a foreign language. The realization of courses is planning both in the lecture-rooms and in the boarding house of Buryat State University Maksimikha on Baikal Lake. The program of courses consists of 44 academic hours.
The courses are organized by the Ministry of education and science of the Russian Federation, Buryat State University and «Russkiy Mir Foundation».
