Institute of Mathematics and Computer Science (IMCS)

Institute of Mathematics and Computer Science was founded in 2001 on the basis of the Mathematics Faculty (founded in 1996), which used to be the department of Mathematics and Physics Faculty (founded in 1932). At first, there were two departments, one of Mathematics and another of Physics. The first 29 students enrolled in 1932. 

The Institute of Mathematics and Computer Science gives the best mathematical and IT education in Eastern Siberia. We provide our students with advanced knowledge, relevant skills, constantly improving our curricula and employing leading specialists of the industry.

We teach:

• inventing new and applying known mathematical tools;
• designing, installing and testing software of various kinds;
• designing and maintaining complex corporate networks and information systems;
• managing IT and related areas teams;
• share your knowledge and skills with others.
