IT-START Youth Project

The main purpose of the event was to involve young people in IT-industry and find necessary projects for Russian IT-market.

April 24-26, 2015 130 young programmers wishing to run their IT projects gathered at our university.

Participants of IT-Start project were students from Irkutsk, Omsk, Kemerovo, Tomsk, Novosibirsk region, Trans-Baikal, Altai and Krasnoyarsk region, as well as students from other universities of Buryatia.

During three days young programmers held business training to create and promote their own IT-projects and mastered the practical work in groups.

Leading experts in the field of information technology and startup gave lectures on "Team IT-project», «IT-product", "Business model", workshops "Generation of ideas" and "Successful presentation".

There was a contest of business projects within the school. Students presented over thirty unique IT projects related to creation of mobile applications and portals for tourism, hotel service, catering, medicine, etc.

Organizers of the event expressed gratitude and appreciation to the BSU administration and services for their assistance in organizing the event.
