The main purpose of the event was to involve young people in IT-industry and find necessary projects for Russian IT-market.

From March 31 to April 4, 2015 a delegation of the Faculty of Physical Training, Sport and Tourism climbed Munku-Sardyk mountain from Mongolian side, Khankh areas, within the VII Open tourist festival "The whole world for you", dedicated to the 55th anniversary of the Faculty of Physical Training, Sports and Tourism of Buryat State University.

Buryat State University took part in an international educational exhibition "Education Reform 2015" on April 15 - 20 in Ulanbaatar, Mongolia. The exhibition was attended by more than 80 educational institutions, including universities of Great Britain, Germany, the United States and Russia. During the fair an exhibition of Buryat State University visited by about 7 000 people including students, parents and teachers.

University representatives also held vocational guidance with graduates from Mongolian State University, Mongolian State University of Education, a branch of the Russian Economic Academy named after Plekhanov.

BSU Veterans Choir Concert, a solemn and a moving event, dedicated to the 70th anniversary of the Victory and the 10th choir’s anniversary took place in BSU assembly hall.
